People nowadays advocate energy saving and environmental protection, and the most prominent feature of LED light-emitting diodes is energy saving, which makes LEDs have a very wide range of applications and is well received by people. To choose a good LED light-emitting diode, we must choose one that meets the national safety standards. In addition to safety standards, how do we choose LED light-emitting diodes?

1. Look at the quality of the chip

The quality of the chip determines the brightness and light attenuation of the LED light-emitting diode. The light decay determines the life of the LED, that is to say, low luminous decay, long life, but the relative price of long-life LED is higher, mainly depends on the brand. A good LED light-emitting diode is not only bright, but also has low light attenuation.

2. Look at the lighting effects

With the same power lamp beads, the higher the luminous efficiency, the higher the brightness. The same lighting brightness, the smaller the power consumption, the more energy-saving. The better the color temperature of the same batch of lights is consistent, but the higher the price.

3. Look at the radiator material

At present, the heat sink material of LED light-emitting diodes is generally aluminum, the best is insert aluminum, followed by automotive aluminum (aluminum profile, extruded aluminum), and the worst is cast aluminum.

4. Look at the radiator area

The size of the LED light-emitting diode heat sink determines the heat dissipation effect of the LED light-emitting diode. If the heat dissipation condition is not good, the light decay of the light-emitting diode will be great when the light-emitting diode is operated at high temperature, and the lamp life will be shortened. In theory, LED uses 1W of heat dissipation area to solve heat dissipation, but there is no standard conclusion in this industry. We generally set it at 40 or more.

5. Look at the radiator structure

The contact area between the LED light-emitting diode and the aluminum substrate, the aluminum shell, and the assembly tightness will directly affect the conduction and heat dissipation effects of the core temperature of the LED chip.

6. Look at the drive power

Finally, we have to look at the drive power supply, because LED light-emitting diodes need to be equipped with high-quality, high-efficiency drive power. Generally, the power factor of the drive is required to be higher than 0.9. Do not choose a drive with a factor lower than 0.6, which is a substandard product. The life of the driving power supply directly affects the overall life of the LED light-emitting diode. In other words, the LED light-emitting diode does not have a good driving capability, and the quality and life of the product cannot be guaranteed.

A good quality LED light-emitting diode must also consider different use environments and different technical requirements, such as moisture-proof and dust-proof. Of course, the LED light-emitting diodes selected according to the above methods will certainly not be bad. Focusing on these aspects can effectively avoid economic losses.
